“FT3D” Art Exhibition
(Fukuoka – Thailand – 3 Dimension)

Last year, The 3rd Fukuoka Asian Art Trienale
2005 : Parallel Realities : Asian Art Now’ by Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, Japan, showed works from 3 Thai
artists; Thaweesak Srithongdee, Deang Buasan and Chakkrit Chimnok.
The same exhibition has been continued to exhibit in the Blackburn Museum and Gallery, England, in February – April, 2006.
It sparked the the artists’ collaboration to exhibit their art works again in Thailand, under the project “FT3D” (Fukuoka –Thiland – 3 Dimension)
The collaboration aims to present the aspect related to the story of life, society and
culture in a certain period of time, to show the continuous process of era. It tells the story through
creativity, photography, painting, sculpture, video, and mix media technique in different forms. It is
presented in the public as well as creates knowledge and understanding of contemporary arts.
Opening 2 November 2006 at 6p.m. at Art space, Japan
Foundation, Bangkok.

นิทรรศการ “FT3D” (Fukuoka - Thailand - 3 Dimension)
ตั้งแต่ วันที่ 2 – 31 พฤศจิกายน 2549 เวลา 18.00 น.
เมื่อปีที่แล้ว 3 ศิลปินไทย ทวีศักดิ์ ศรีทองดี, แดง บัวเเสน และ จักรกริช ฉิมนอก ได้รับเชิญให้ไปแสดงงานที่ The 3rd Fukuoka Asian Art
Triennale 2005 ที่มี THeme ว่า Parallel Realities : Asian Art Now ระหว่าง17 กันยายน – 27 พฤศจิกายน 2548
ผลงานดังกล่าวได้ถูกนำไปแสดงต่อที่ Blackburn Museum and Gallery ประเทศอังกฤษ ตั้งแต่เดือน
กุมภาพันธ์ – เมษายน 2549
จึงเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นทำให้ศิลปินทั้งสามคนเกิดความสัมพันธ์และร่วมมือกันในการจัดแสดงผลงานศิลปะภายใต้โครงงาน
“FT3D” (Fukuoka - Thailand - 3 Dimension) ขึ้นในประเทศไทย
โดยมีจุดมุ่งหมายร่วมกันเพื่อนำเสนอมุมมองที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ เรื่องราวของชีวิต สังคม และวัฒนธรรม
ในช่วงระยะเวลาหนึ่ง ให้ประจักษ์ถึงการดำเนินไปของยุคสมัย ซึ่งเป็นการถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวผ่านกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์
เทคนิค จิตรกรรม ประติมากรรม วีดีโอ และสื่อประสม ในรูปแบบที่แตกต่างกัน และนำเสนอจัดแสดงสู่พื้นที่สาธารณะตลอดจนสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับศิลปะร่วมสมัยซึ่งเป็นภาษาสากลและเป็นภาษาสำคัญยิ่งในทุกสังคมและวัฒนธรรม
